~ Jill Christine Petit b. 1950 ~

After living in and training for her B.A. in England - Jill moved to Annapolis in 1995, with her husband and two children.

She has explored various forms of art in different media but has discovered that oils are a satisfying medium in which to express herself. Her main subject matter is portraiture; her work currently hangs in the Naval Academy and in various private collections.

She has trained at Studio Incamminati in Philadelphia with Stephen Early, Lea Wight, and Darren Kingsley.

She is a member of Maryland Federation of Art, Maryland Society of Portrait Painters and The Portrait Society of America.
